In fact some of the most profitable amusement venues have multiple carousel rides. Such venues recognize that many visitors are prepared to pay more to discover a ride's theme than because of its baseline operating mechanisms. In the past, canopies were utilised to guard the electronics inside a carousel ride's monotone speakers through the elements, but now canopies provide riders with a much more immersive experience. Needless to say, open-top merry go rounds remain popular as well as some public fairgrounds in France, you can still find mechanically operated carousels, that are not dissimilar to the roundabouts ...
